♥ REVIEW: Careline Oil Control Blush-on

Hello there!

I am not really fond of blushes so one blush is enough for me. For my cheeks, I want them to look rosy so the shade that I am looking for in a blush is a rosy peach shade that gives me a subtle color just not to look flat. Since I am not really into blushes, I just go for a very affordable blush. I tried the brand Careline because they have a lot of blush shades to choose from plus their blushes have oil control. And yes, I have found the perfect blush for me from that brand. Right now, I am currently loving this Careline Oil Control Blush-on in the shade Rosy Cheek. The shade name is exactly the shade that I want. :)

Price: P90
Availability: Watsons and Department Stores

Description: Now Careline Single Blush-on is made better for a more Prettilicious you! Have a natural looking blush without the danger of oily skin ruining your day. With its oil control and Vitamin E enriched formula, you remain oil-free all day long without over-drying your sensitive skin. You stay moisturized without the grease all the time!

Packaging:

The product comes in a simple white compact container that has a transparent cover for you to see the color or shade of the blush. I find its packaging simple but cute and also perfect for traveling because it can easily be stored in your makeup kit. The container is also sturdy because it accidentally fell from my hand and I haven't observed any cracks on the product. It has a powder puff that comes with the product but I am not comfortable on using the puff because I feel that it's hard to control the amount of product you want apply. So, I use a blush brush instead.

Swatch:

I got the shade in Rosy Cheek and as you can see it is a pinkish-red color. It is just enough to give me that natural looking blush. It also has shimmers but don't worry, it is not overwhelming and it eventually disappears.

Longevity:
For my oily skin, it lasted a long time and I have observed that my cheeks are not very oily than usual.

Pros:
  • Affordable.
  • Locally available.
  • Good oil control.
  • Has Vitamin E.
  • Pigmented. Good color pay-off.
  • Long-lasting.
  • It has shimmers but it turns out matte.
  • No irritations or allergic reactions.
  • No scent at all.
  • Travel-friendly.
  • Sturdy packaging.
  • Not chalky/powdery.

Cons:
  •  Nothing!

Overall:
This product is very good considering that it is so cheap and that it is from a local brand. The oil control is effective and I love it for that. Also, I love that it gives me the natural shade of blush that I want. I think I have found my holy grail blush even though I am not into blushes. I would definitely repurchase and I recommend this product to anyone especially to those who are in a tight budget and are still starting their makeup kit.

Thank you so much for viewing and I hope this review helped. Stay tuned for more reviews and follow me on Instagram (@judychiot) for more updates. God bless. :)

  1. I was in the Philippines last April and saw Careline at the department store. I swatched the lipsticks which stained my hand (LOVE!). I am kicking myself for not having purchased any makeup :( next time. I definitely would love to try Careline when I go back. I've seen pictures of their blushes. Like yours, they look so pigmented!! And since you have no CONS on your list, it makes me want to try it more! HAHA

    1. yes, their blushes are very pigmented. I actually under estimated Careline before and now I know their products are actually pretty good. I have also tried some of their lipsticks and yeah I agree, they are good also if you want to have that stained lips effect. :D thanks for dropping by my blog. :)
