First of all, let me greet each and everyone of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :)
Today, I am going to share with you my shopping experience from an online shopping website called BeautyMNL. BeautyMNL is a beauty shop that sells only authentic makeup from both local and high-end makeup brands. I have heard about BeautyMNL earlier this year so I checked the website and it was like a makeup heaven. All the brands that I love are there so I don't need to go to the mall anymore. It is very convenient plus I'll get to discover new brands that are affordable.
Now that is Christmas season, I had the chance to experience shopping at BeautyMNL. :)
As I was browsing through their website, it was so overwhelming. There are a lot of products from a lot of brands. But I took my time and browsed each brand from their brand directory. I even browsed their promotional products and those that were in sets. But, unfortunately, there were already a lot of sold outs which I should want to buy.
So, I ordered on a friday. Then they sent me an email confirming my order and its expected time of arrival. The standard ETA for Metro Manila is 1-2 days while for provincial is 5-7 days. Well, I'm not worried. It is what I expected anyway. Living in Davao, sometimes it will take more than a week for my orders to arrive.
Then after five days, it arrived. I wasn't expecting it would only take five days, I though it would take a maximum of seven days. That only means, they transact as quickly as possible. I also read other bloggers who have also shopped at BeautyMNL that it took their items only one day to arrive right at their doorstep, that is if you're living in Metro Manila. So, two thumbs up for that.
I also like their packaging. It's very nice with their simple message written on it. The plastic is also reusable for storing items because it's a ziplock. The products are covered in this gold foil and when you remove everything, the fragile products are covered in bubble wrap. Duh! HAHAHA!
Now, the exciting part is here! My mini haul of what I purchased from the site. It's not that many because almost all the products that I want are already sold out. Huhuhu. Anyway, here they are. :)
I bought this one because it is a best seller and I have acne prone skin so I thought of trying this one out. I read that it is effective on cystic acne and I sometimes have them every time of the month so let's see if it works. :)
I really wanted to try castor oil. Have you heard about it? I heard it can lengthen and thickens eyebrows and eyelashes. This one doesn't have castor oil but it claims to do the same. It has positive reviews on the site that's why I bought it. Let's see then.
I know, to myself, I have tried lip and cheek stain before when I was in high school and I didn't like that. From then on, I didn't try any more lip and cheek stain or tint. Not until now, when I saw this at the site, I was bought by the positive reviews. So, I decided to try once again and I bought the shade in Tan Brown.
Okay, so I had this one already in a different shade and I loved it. Then they released new shades and that's why I bought another one. Hahaha! This time I got the shade in Truth or Dare. I have a review on the other shade and you can read it here.
I bought this one out of curiosity and I am looking forward to trying it out because I haven't tried a metallic lipstick before. I got the shade in Rigel.
Last but not the least, this balm right here. I bought it because sometimes we use this kind of balm in our house.
Overall:
I love BeautyMNL even before they became mainstream. I love everything at BeautyMNL. It is not only a shopping site but it has also a magazine called Bloom. Their articles will guide you in buying beauty products. Awesome! You can also read reviews on each product so you will know if it's effective or not.
I had a hassle-free shopping experience. I was satisfied with their service from the time I ordered until the time the items arrived. It was so easy and convenient. Now I don't have to go to the mall just to buy beauty products because my hands can do it on its own. Hehehe!
