♥ REVIEW: Glamworks Permanent Hair Dye Color (Burgundy)

Hi everyone! Do you love dyeing your hair? Me, I really want to dye my hair because I find my look so boring and I wanted to try something new and something unique. But I'm not a risk taker, I'm always afraid to do something new on my looks because it might not fit me and I will regret after. I just wish there is someone who would suggest or advise me on what hairstyle or hair color will really fit me. :( I saw this hair color that is very affordable and so easy to use. So, I decided to try it. It is the Glam Works Permanent Hair Dye Color. Keep on reading to know my experience on this hair dye. :)

Price: P49
Availability: Any Watsons nationwide

"Made with natural herbal essences, Glamworks Permanent Hair Dye Color can change the hair color in just one hair washing. It last up to 8 weeks, turning the hair naturally bright, and conceals your grey hair magically."

I got the shade in Burgundy. They have, I think, 4 shades: Black, Light Brown, Medium Brown and Burgundy. The reason why I got Burgundy is because I really wanted to dye my hair red but I don't want to bleach my hair because I am aware that it will really ruin my hair. So, I satisfy myself with this.

It has a hair color guide for you to see what is the result after you use this hair dye. This will make you expect more about this product.

As you can see, it says "Hair dyeing shampoo" which means you will just shampoo this product to your hair to achieve the expected color. It is so easy to apply when you do it by yourself. I want this kind of hair dye because it is very impossible for me to apply hair dye with a brush since my hair is very long and very thick. I need an assistant in that case. It is also a good thing that they put what the package includes in the label.

Directions, of course, are very important.

Are you ready to see my before and after? Lol! Here it is:

It is not really visible in the picture but if you can see it personally, it did change my hair color. Well, the black is still over powering the new hair color. Anyways, at least there is a difference. Lol.

Pros:
  • Very affordable so it will not hurt that much when you want to try it.
  • Easy to use.
  • Directions are clearly stated.
  • It has a hair color guide.

Cons:
  • The smell of the chemicals is quite irritating and unpleasant.
  • The result can only be seen outdoor, when there is light. It's not that obvious.
  • It can make your hair dry.

Overall, I give this a rating of 3.5/5 because I am not impressed and not disappointed also, its just that I don't like the result. The result is very far from the one being pictured in the hair color guide. But anyway, it did make my hair look like I have highlights. Lol! I will not repurchase. I will now go to a hair salon and let the professionals do the job for me to really be satisfied with the result.

Have you tried dyeing your hair just by yourself? What brand did you use? I also wanted to know more ideas about hair coloring. I hope this was helpful. Thank you for viewing. God bless. :)

    1. Actually, I also wanted to try that one but it's a bit pricey. In my opinion, I think EH Bubble Hair Color will do better than this one, because I saw my classmate's hair color and it made a big difference on her hair. She used EH Bubble Hair Color btw. :)

  7. I used this brand of dye but the color black, my previous hair color was brown. At first I used one but it didn't do anything, so I bought another two and used it all. Now my hair is like jet black, and when it's in the sun, the light reflection is blue. Hahaha. What can you do to make the dryness go away? Cuz i'm using Palty Camellia oil treatment.
