♥ REVIEW: Belo Essentials Face Sunblock with SPF 40 PA+++

Hi everyone! How important sunblock is to you? Well for me, very important. I am not actually using sunblock on my face before because I am just lazy and I don't have much time to wait 20-30 minutes before going out of the house. So I skipped it, not until I already have acne and acne scars. I realized how sunblock is very important for the skin. I am currently suffering from acne and acne scars so I researched on how to reduce it. Then I have read in an article that you need to apply sunblock. I forgot why is that so (hehe) but one thing is for sure, sunblock is very important. So, today I am going to review the Belo Essentials Face Sunblock with SPF 40 PA +++.

Price: P299
Availability: Any Watsons nationwide

"Introducing scientifically formulated products from skin care experts at Belo Medical Group!

This moisturizing facial sunblock effectively provides broad-spectrum protection against harmful UV rays. Lightweight and non-sticky, it also gives superior cell protection against sunlight and pollution. Sun expert strengthens the skin's defense system, maintaining healthy skin while simultaneously preventing accelerated premature skin aging."

This sunblock claims to be:
  • non-sticky
  • hypoallergenic
  • non-comedogenic
  • water resistant
  • fragrance-free
  • immediately effective
  • cell protective

Wow, those are a lot. Oh and by the way, I have also read that the products that are acne-friendly are those with oil-free, non-clogging, non-comedogenic, and water-base on the label. So, this product claims to be non-comedogenic, it is written on the label. So, I guess it's okay for acne-prone skin.

Pros:
  • Definitely non-sticky.
  • It's non-comedogenic.
  • It dissolves quickly on the skin.
  • It has no white casts.
  • Easily absorbs by the skin.
  • Fragrance is tolerable.
  • No need to wait for 20 minutes before going out of the house.
  • Has UVA/UVB broad spectrum.
  • Has SPF 40. I heard the minimum SPF for the face should be 30.

Cons:
  • Not really fragrance-free.
  • A little bit expensive but I am not amazed at all. I know sunblocks are very expensive, I don't know why.

Overall, I give this a rate of 4/5. I also recommend this product but I'm still not sure if I will repurchase. I'm still in search for the best sunblock for me. As of now, I will stick to this one. :)

How about you, do you use sunblock? What sunblock are you using? Comment below. Please share your thoughts. Thank you for viewing. God bless. :)

Lots of ♥, Judy

    1. I guess it's okay pero masasayang siya kasi this is a sunblock and kung gagamitin niyo po siya at night, mawawala po ang essence ng pagiging sunblock niya, mahal pa naman ang mga sunblock. Hehe! If you are looking for a moisturizer, I recommend iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream. It is suitable for all skin types. :D I hope this helps. :)
